Litigation
FTT ruled March 2018 that leaseholders were liable for the approx GBP 2m bill; Barratt then agreed to pay. Cladding removed 2019, structural defects then found, residents decanted, Barratt bought back all 95 flats in 2021. Barratt’s own figure was GBP 15.8m. Citiscape is also one of the five buildings in BDW Trading v Ardmore (approx GBP 85m), where it is STAYED pending pre-action protocol
