The elevations have a rich palette of materials including brick, insulated render, timber, metal and terracotta rain screen cladding forming a modern abstract pattern along the street elevations.KDS undertook the working drawing and tender package for the original owner, Hadley Homes Plc. The procurement of the works was twin tracked with the planning application, which was granted in July 2006. The client sold the site at the beginning of 2007 to Telford Homes Plc, who re-engaged KDS to re-work the apartment areas and mix. This required the re-working of the elevational treatment and the demolition of the Mill Building and was submitted for planning permission whilst works commenced on site.
