The Galleria development is a single ten-storey block with a wing of Artist Studios (live-work units), built over a basement car park. The building sits in open parkland and has a modulated façade containing a unique feature – a ten-storey high Greenheart timber trellis.
The local planners were extremely keen on the bulky Greenheart timber feature, which required extensive development with TRADA and the engineers to ensure that the jointing of the bulky timbers could adequately restrain the load and movement of the frame.
