Works include the removal of stone rainscreen cladding and associated combustible insulation and framework components, and the installation of Rockwool Duo Slab insulation and Rockwool SP Firestop cavity barriers, with replacement of the stone external facing material like for like with the original. The proposed replacement cladding system results in an increase in the overall façade thickness in order to achieve the necessary U-values from a mineral wool-based insulation product, necessitating the current planning application
