  • The proposed works which form part of the CLOPUD application relate to replacing all ACM metal cladding with PPC metal cladding across the elevations. The materials legend on the proposed drawings shows which panels are subject to change.
  • It is considered that these works do not materially affect the overall external visual appearance of the building and therefore planning permission is not required. To ensure the visual appearance is not affected, the proposed PPC cladding has been colour matched to the existing ACM panels. On the basis that planning permission is not required, a Certificate of Lawfulness of Proposed Use or Development (CLOPUD) to secure the Council’s formal “judgement” is sought.
